There’s a lot of debate on social media as to whether resumes are still important or a thing of the past. It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if in a few short years from now resumes are completely replaced by LinkedIn profiles or some other format on social media. But for now, resumes are still very important to companies and hiring managers when applying for positions, interviewing, and even networking with potential hiring contacts. For human resource teams, it continues to be an integral part of the applicant tracking process and is a key document in a new hire’s employee file.

I highly recommend hiring an experienced resume writer if you’re launching a job search after several years without updating your resume.
